It’s that time of year!

Yes, even though the leaves are just changing colors and the temps are falling softly toward winter, it’s time to start getting that house ready for a spring sale!

At least that’s one of the most common calls I’m getting these days.

This time of year is a great time to have a professional through your home to help you prioritize projects.

Many people are pleasantly surprised when I don’t think they need to remodel the kitchen or baths to sell their home!

The most common projects sellers need to tackle are:

• Decluttering. Box up, sell or trash lots of stuff.
• Paint. Dollar for dollar, paint is the best!
• Landscaping. Curb appeal sells. A little edging and black mulch goes a long way.
• Flooring. Old carpet is a killer. At minimum make sure it’s clean.

If you are considering selling next year, now is the time to get some input into what will help you get top dollar, even in a seller’s market.
